Ring tape used to protect the contact surface of the inner tube from rim wear. It is installed between the inner tube and the rim, the middle part is thicker, and the two edges become thinner from the inside to the outside. There is a center line on the outer surface of the gasket, which is used for the alignment line during installation. There is also a hole on the centerline for the tube valve to pass through. The pad tape does not have high requirements on the physical and mechanical properties of the rubber compound, but it should have good aging resistance. Tubeless tires fixed to deep rims and ultra-low pressure tires fixed to rims with special structures do not need pads because of their tight fit.
